Vermillion Players Presents Beauty and the Beast
Wednesday, June 14, 2023
Vermillion Players is excited to kick off their 2023 Summer-in-the-Park Season with Disney's Beauty and the Beast!
The classic story tells of Belle (Glorianna Birkett), a young woman in a provincial town who dreams of a more fulfilling life then settling down with Gaston (Cody Leach); and the Beast (Dylan Webster), who is really a young prince (Levi Rients) trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his entire staff including Mrs. Potts (Jessica Ping), Cogsworth (Nick Simpson), Lumiere (Thomas McElwee), Madame de la Grande Bouche (Kelly Lefler), Babette (Kalli Verdun), and Chip (Lacey Peyton) will be doomed for all eternity. Meanwhile Gaston, with the help of his sidekick Lefou (Nick Pelletier), devises a plan to get Belle's father Maurice (Ben Maier) out of the way and to destroy the Beast to win Belle's love. Who will Belle choose? Join us June 14-18 to find out!
