ComEd is suspending disconnects for customers unable to pay their bills and waiving new late payment charges. Comed is working with customers on a case to case basis on payment arrangements and energy assistance.

Nicor recognizes that the evolving landscape surrounding the COVID-19 may cause financial challenges for their customers impacted by employment changes or business slowdown. Effective March 14, they have voluntarily suspended service disconnections for residential and commercial customers for non-payment.
