The Pontiac Public Library offers Ebooks, Audio Books, and other media.
E-books
The Pontiac Public Library is a member of the Reaching Across Illinois Library System (RAILS) and the Resource Sharing Alliance (RSA). By using your library card and password, you can access electronic books from the shared Alliance Digital Media Library. These books may be read via a computer, tablet, smart phone or other device. For more information on this service, please visit the Alliance Digital Media Library website, or ask one of the Pontiac librarians for assistance. Digital print and audio books are available from this resource.
Audiobooks
Within our collection we have hundreds of Audio Books on CDs. We are able to access some titles in Audio Book format on cassettes through interlibrary loan. Audio Books are also available through the Overdrive and Alliance Digital Media Library.
Movies
The library has a collection DVD movies that are available for checkout. DVDs may also be ordered from other libraries. Checkouts of borrowed interlibrary loan items are governed by the rules of the library holding the item.
