Plantings

  • Bushes: Bushes will not be planted without the approval of the Cemetery Department.
  • Trees: Trees will not be planted without the approval of the Cemetery Department.
  • Live Plants: Live potted plants, or live cut flowers in proper containers will be allowed, but only at those times of year as specified by the Cemetery Department.
  • Rose Bushes: No new rose bushes will be allowed. Those existing rose bushes must be kept trimmed by the owners, or the Cemetery Department reserves the right to trim or remove them.
  • Winter Greenery: Winter greenery will be allowed, but only at those times of year as specified by the Cemetery Department.

Artificial Decorations

  • Flowers: Artificial flowers will be allowed next to stones or monuments, either put directly into the ground or in approved containers, but only at those times of year as specified by the Cemetery Department.
  • Hanging Baskets: Rods and hanging baskets will be allowed year round but the following stipulations apply:
    • One hanging basket per rod
    • A single rod with one hook per grave space
    • All rods must be placed at the head (west end) of the graves, directly next to the stones or monuments. In the event that there is no stone, they should be placed at the head of the grave in line with the surrounding stones in the same row.
  • Crosses: Crosses will be allowed next to stone or monuments, but only at those times of year as specified by the Cemetery Department.
  • Glass Containers: All existing glass containers will be removed by the owners. Those glass containers not removed by a date specified by the Cemetery Department will be removed by cemetery personnel. No new glass containers will be allowed.
  • Decorative Stone: All existing decorative stone around stones and monuments must be removed by the owners. All stone not removed by a date specified by the Cemetery Department will be removed by cemetery personnel. No new decorative stone will be allowed.
  • Memorabilia: Memorabilia will be allowed next to stones and monuments, but only at those times of year as specified by the Cemetery Department.
  • Stone Saddles: Live potted plants, live cut flowers, and artificial flowers placed on top of the stones or monuments with a saddle will be allowed year round.

Timetable for Decorations for Holidays

Live plants, cut flowers, and artificial decorations will be allowed, in proper containers, three days prior to the following holidays:

  • Easter Day
  • Mother's Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Father's Day
  • Fourth of July
  • Labor Day
  • Veterans' Day
