Red Carpet Corridor Festival
May 3 & 4, 2014
All 13 of the communities along the 90-mile stretch of Old Route 66 will be celebrating the Mother Road.  Pontiac's 8th Annual Red Carpet Corridor Festival will be focused on the downtown area.  Clean out the garage, basement or closet and bring your used items to the Trunkin' Treasures sales at the Courthouse.  Visit the Red Carpet Corridor website for more information.

Museums Move to New Hours April 1

The Illinois Route 66 Hall of Fame & Museum,
the Pontiac-Oakland Auto Museum, and the International Walldog Mural and Sign Art Museum will all switch over to their longer, tourist season hours schedule on April 1st.  They will be open from 9 AM to 5 PM daily.  The Livingston County War Museum will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM and on Sunday, from Noon to 4 PM.  Admission is free to all four museums, and donations are gratefully accepted.
