Annual Threshermen's Reunion 
 September 3 - September 7, 2015
 The Nation's second oldest gathering of antique and heritage steam and gasoline powered farm equipment.  Horse shows, tractor pulls, live entertainment, daily parade of power, and lots of things for the kids.  This year will feature Minneapolis-Moline manufactured tractors.   Visit the webpage.

Hosted by the Heart of Illinois GTO Club, the Gateway GTO Club, the Windy City GTO club, and the Pontiac-Oakland Automobile Museum and Resource Center.  Saturday: Private Collections Tour, Museum Tours, Cruise, Ice Cream Social, and Live Musical Revue Performance.  Sunday: All Pontiac Car Show with expanded classes.  For more information, view the flyer or visit the Gateway GTO website

23th Annual Threshermen's Bluegrass Festival 

September 24, 25 & 26, 2015
Held each  year at Threshermen’s Park a few miles out of the city, this festival celebrates all things bluegrass.  Nationally known entertainers, dancers, and festival food.  Bring your lawn chair, settle in, and enjoy the music!

Christmas Light Up Parade 
November 27, 2015
Join us in welcoming Santa to Pontiac and kick off the Holiday Season 
with a parade filled with decorated and lighted floats.  Starts at 6 PM.



The City of Pontiac is host to car clubs and group tours nearly every weekend of the Spring, Summer, and Fall. The Pontiac Tourism office would be happy to help you organize a visit for your group. We can assist you with parking, guided tours, trolley rides, restaurant reservations, and hotel or B & B accommodations for overnight stays. For groups with over 30 people and who are staying overnight in Pontiac, the tourism office will arrange free, live entertainment in the evening. Contact us for more information.
