Pontiac welcomes tours of all sizes. Our Tourism department is ready to work with travel industry professionals to ensure that your group has a great time. Whether you are looking for a selection of attractions which will require only a few hours time, or a full day's activities, we can meet your needs.

Pontiac welcomed more than 140 tour groups in 2012.  We provide each tour group member with a complimentary "goodie bag" with maps, brochures, and a souvenir gift.  When you contact us prior to your visit, we can also provide a unique City of Pontiac lapel pin for each of your group members.  Our tourism office works with tour group operators and guides to insure that each group has an individualized and entertaining visit.  We can arrange trolley and/or tram tours, help with meal reservations, and provide you with "hub and spoke" tour suggestions.  We can arrange private tours led by qualified docents to our historic homes.  Or your group members can stroll around the downtown shopping district visiting museums, or viewing our collection of over 20 outdoor murals using our maps and brochures as guides.  We approach each coach tour visit as an opportunity to set new records in hospitalilty and fun.

For Groups of 30 or more who stay overnight in Pontiac, the tourism office will make arrangements for a special live, musical revue entertainment. The revues typically feature songs from the 40s, 50s, and 60s, and include some audience participation.  The venue for these performances will, in most cases, be the historic Chautauqua Park pavilion.
